How would you get to Six Flags from the suburbs (Naperville)?
My friends and I wanna go to Six Flags but we realized that taking I-88 at 8:00 a.m would be a huge hassle since that's kind of in the middle of rush hour. Thus, we've decided that taking the train would be best. Unfortunately, we have no clue on how the Metra/ CTA/ PACE system works. So, can anyone help us get to Six Flags? =D
A-Best: It will be a long train ride...3 1/2 hrs. You will also have only 1 min to change trains at Union Station to the Milwaukee North line to Round Lake. Then board a PACE # 570 bus to Gurnee Mills, then transfer to a PACE # 565 bus to GA...$13.50.
OR
You can change METRA stations in Chgo. After you arrive walk to the Ogilive Transportation Center to take the Union Pacific-North train to Waukegan, then a PACE # 565 bus to GA...$12.75...3 hrs, 55 min.
BEWARE:
You will have to leave GA by 9:30 in order to make connections with PACE.
A: Google Maps, Map Quest. Just take the I-88! Its worth it.
