What will happen to your multiple entry visa if you file extention of i-94?
My mom's i-94 will expire this coming Dec 13 (she came last June 2009 to USA). I am planning to extend her i-94,but i am so confused about the consequences. First, if she is approved, is her multiple entry visa still valid? Second, if she's denied, is her multiple entry visa still valid? What are the other consequences? Is it okay to extend i-94?? Help please
A-Best: For an extension of a B-2 visitors visa she must file a form I-539 (fee $300); it is in general only approved in emergency or justified exceptional cases and needs certain pre-requisites.

If the US CIS officer suspects that she is actually trying to be a de facto resident, she may be denied extension..
A: if you intend to extend the B-2 for an emergency situation it will be granted normally
If you intend to extend for a frivolous reason it will be refused and your B-2 may be cancelled
A: Whether her extension is granted or not, it will not affect the validity of her B2 visa.
