Is it cheaper to print color copies at home or have color photocopies made?
I need to do a lot of color copies. I have an HP DeskJet. The local photocopy shop quotes me 49 cents per color xerox. So ... does someone know what the price per color copy printed at home would be ... or an estimate of how many color prints you could get from a single ink cartridge?
Oh, yeah... I'm just printing text - posters with some graphics, not looking to have photographs done. Thx.
A-Best: It's going to depend on what kind of ink cartridges you are using. if you bought genuine HP inks, then it's probabaly cheaper to get them done for you (not to mention it will reduce the wear and tear on your printer).
A: All depends on coverage. Basically colour text is probably better printed at home, and pictures are better at a store.
A: yes i would say that it matters what kinda quality you are wanting, and how many copies, i would say to use the stores copiers for a big job and your home copiers for more simple jobs
