What happens if I forgot to turn my I-94 when i left the country?
I am a citizen from another country and came to visit with a visa for a couple of months.
When i left i forgot to turn the I-94 i got when i came in.
Would that cause me any problem? If so, what are my options?
Would this cause my trouble when i come back?
A-Best: If you left via a commercial airline, then you don't have to do anything, as they will have your departure on record.
However, it could delay your future entry a bit, so it is recommended you mail your I-94 (and a copy of your boarding pass or travel arrangements) to the following address:
* DHS - CBP SBU
* 1084 South Laurel Road
* London, KY 40744
A: Go to this site they have immigration lawyers who will answer your question for a small fee. www.justanswer.com.
A: the USA thinks you are still in USA and therefore you may be called an illegal for overstaying.
best to get that form to the USA ASAP.
