A-Best: I've been there and there is a way out. Or many different ways out and you have to find the one that works best for you.
If you are the sort of person who doesn't mind seeing a doctor then you can get a Rx for anti-depressants. This works if you use them only for the short term while you work on making changes.
You can also buy SAMe over the counter and it will help once enough of it builds up in your system.
Some people are affected by the weather and you may need to get more sun or take vitamin D3.
Exercise can really help too because it generates endorphins. Taking walks outside during the day can help because you get sun, endorphin release, and a sort of meditation all together.
Even better you could move to a sunny climate where the people seem to be happier and more relaxed. I've lived in Seattle and New Zealand and both places caused me depression, as did Upstate New York winters. Now I'm in California and the happiest I've ever been. There's a difference between running away from your problems and moving to a place where your spirit can soar.
Journaling is one of the easiest ways to release a lot of your emotions, especially morning pages. Just write 3 pages every morning right when you wake up. Don't worry about what they say, just write whatever comes to mind and fill up 3 pages.
Spiritually you can also just work on acceptance. Letting go of desire, as Buddhists strive to do, can really help you to be satisfied with a simple life. Try knitting a tea cosy and eating tea and scones, maybe your soul is yearning to do that, so indulge it!
Baby steps. Try some or all of this. Life really can be beautiful again but you do need to train your mind to be grateful and appreciative.
A: Well what's the problem? Why does life suck in your opinion? If you traveled & went out that voice in your head would disappear I'm not sure if your a believer in God but prayer always answers things in my opinion......anyway most likely it could just be another cycle in life that your going through
A: Society is insane, I'm planning to maybe go live in the mountains soon enough. It beats suicide, eh?
A: Try to find something you enjoy doing. For me it's playing with power tools andhaving control over the creation and destruction of something. I help build sets for my college plays, and I get up every morning looking forward to going to work. Classes suck, but I have something to look forward to. I also have diabetes and suffer from depression, so another thing that helps me get out of bed is thinking about other kids that have it worse than I do. I feel lucky to be who I am!
A: do something fun. draw a picture, paint a picture, read the book "The Secret", go to the movies, go for a walk, sing, dance. bake cookies. volunteer in another country at an orphanage or something. do something that makes you feel worthwhile. take a risk. your only mistake would be to do nothing.
