Where's the best coastal place to "see old southern charm" along I-95 in Georgia and southern S. Carolina?
My family is vacationing at Disney World before driving to Augusta GA to visit family for a couple days.
We will have an extra day to sight-see and stay the night somewhere along I-95 after we leave Disney and before we arrive in Augusta.
We'd like to stay somewhere in Georgia or southern S. Carolina -- preferably on the coast -- and obviously near I-95 since that will be our route north from Orlando.
Thanks for any advice you can give.

A: You need to go to Jekyll Island in GA. It has the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and a lot of history. Its also beautiful and peaceful. Check out this website:
